Introduction Mitral annular disjunction (MAD) was first described more than 3 decades ago as an abnormal atrial displacement the hinge point mitral valve away from ventricular myocardium. MAD associated with arrythmias and sudden cardiac death, yet some studies suggested that presence can be potentially normal physiological function . (1) Purpose Our primary end assessment incidence among cohort prolapse at our center secondary predictors arrythmias(VAs) in cohort. Methods It is observational cross section study where we recruited all patients who were diagnosed to have representing area Upper Egypt, defined distinct separation annulus left wall myocardial continuum, it initially by means transthoracic echocardiography. Results We analyzed 300 prolapse, 7 % them showed disjunction, 33 female patients, mean age 34 years old, follow up period years, main presenting complain palpitations 66 %, FH SCD noticed 9 cohort, Mean QRS width 81 mseconds, QTc 423 EF 60 distance mm, while LA volume 36 cm3, 80 bileaflet only 19 had 50 fibrosis papillary muscles, curling %.VAs having premature complexes or documented monomorphic tachycardia average burden 10 during a Holter.There positive correlation between Prescence significant P value 0.02, there no arrythmias. Conclusions Incidence MVP population center. Only predictor VAs, ECG, echo couldn`t proved positively correlated VAs.
